Old American Indian Pottery Stolen from Albuquerque Gallery, January 13, 2008

On Sunday, January 13, five major pieces of American Indian Pottery were stolen from the Cowboys and Indians Gallery in Albuquerque, NM.
  

1) Stolen Zia Olla,
2) Stolen Zia Olla,
3) Sketch of Stolen San Ildefonso Jar

4) Stolen Zuni Dough Bowl,
5) Sketch of Stolen Zuni Heartline Deer Olla

Descriptions of the stolen items are as follows:

  • 1) Zia olla, early 1930s about 16″ H x 20″ Dia.
  • 2) Zia olla with crucifix 1910-20 14″ h x 18″ w with ladle wear on the top
  • 3) Black on cream San Ildefonso jar 1880-90 has wear at rim.
  • 4) Large Zuni dough bowl 1910 Rainbird design
  • 5) Med. Zuni Heartline Deer Olla
