American Indian Items Stolen from Jackson Hole, WY Home, Spring, 2005

A Jackson Hole, WY home experienced a theft in Spring, 2005. The stolen items include a Hopi Kachina, a Klagetoh rug, a Red Mesa rug, a Sioux roach, a pair of leather pants said to have been worn by Chief Sitting Bull, a pipe bag said to have been used by Chief Sitting Bull and two Socorro Ollas. It is possible that a prominent Santa Fe trader, not an ATADA member, sold some of these items just before he passed away. If you have information on any of these items, send email to tony@swbtc.com .
