American Indian Items Stolen from Jackson Hole, WY Home, Spring, 2005

A Jackson Hole, WY home experienced a theft in Spring, 2005. The stolen items include a Hopi Kachina, a Klagetoh rug, a Red Mesa rug, a Sioux roach, a pair of leather pants said to have been worn by Chief Sitting Bull, a pipe bag said to have been used by Chief Sitting Bull and two Socorro Ollas. It is possible that a prominent Santa Fe trader, not an ATADA member, sold some of these items just before he passed away. If you have information on any of these items, send email to .
