Navajo Weavings and Baskets Stolen from Casa Grande, AZ Residence, July, 2007
Four Navajo Weavings and three Tohono O’odham baskets were discovered missing from a Casa Grande, AZ home on July 25, 2007.
- 1) Two Grey Hills Rug by Rose Begay, approx. 3′ x 2′,
- 2) Eight Figure Yei Rug, approx. 2-1/2′ x 4-1/2′,
- 3) Storm Pattern Rug, approx. 5′ x 7′, grey, black and white,
- 4) Western Outline Rug, approx. 5′ x 3′, brown, grey, black and white,
- 5) Tohono O’odham basket approx. 13″ diameter,
- 6) Tohono O’odham basket, approx. 13″ high x 11 “diameter,
- 7) Tohono O’odham basket, approx. 13″ high, 11″ diameter at top, 10″ diameter at bottom.
