STOLEN - Navajo Jewelry - Albuquerque, NM

On or about December 30 - 31st, a large number of jewelry items were stolen from a gallery in Albuquerque, NM.

The items stolen include:

  • 6 strands of silver Navajo beads (see photo. note that the bottom strand in the photo was not taken)

  • 5 or 6 concho belts

  • 85 bracelets - mostly Fred Harvey and 1960s-70s era.

STOLEN - Navajo Jewelry Collection

Sometime between Aug. 6 - Aug 10, 2021, a collection of 26 pieces of jewelry were stolen from a residence in Santa Fe, NM.

The stolen items included works by Gibson Nez, Victor Beck, Albert Lee and Raymond Yazzie.

Unfortunately, no photos of the items are available at this time. Please review the attached list with detailed descriptions of the items.

STOLEN - 5 Navajo Bracelets

The following 5 bracelets have been reported stolen. They were taken from a Texas hotel room in late February.

The stolen items include:

  1. Navajo Ingot wire with 5 large stones, c. 1920, 5 3/4” cuff, 1 1/4” opening, 85g

  2. Navajo stamped silver bracelet with 3 Persian turquoise stone & 2 small stones, c. 1920, 5 1/2” cuff,
    1” opening

  3. Navajo stamped silver ingot bracelet with 3 stones and stamped designs, c. 1930, 5 1/2” cuff, 1” opening

  4. Navajo silver twist wire bracelet with large oval stone, c. 1940, 5 7/8” cuff,
    1 1/8” opening

  5. Navajo silver bracelet with single stone in center and deer heads on either side, c. 1930
